Clockwork Teasmade
“Patented in Birmingham in 1902, this brass and copper tea maker was the first Teasmade. The alarm clock triggered a switch and a match was then struck against a moving sandpaper, lighting the spirit stove under the kettle. Once the water boiled, the steam pressure lifted a hinged flap and the kettle would tilt, filling the teapot beneath. Finally, a place would sing over the stove, extinguishing its flames.”

What ever comes flying out before common sense kicks in... aka too late.
As you will note all but immediately I like steampunk, dieslepunk, zombie stuff ( pretty bent sense of humour) but a ove all, beauty: nature, women, art, ... yeah, you get the picture.
I'm a 43 year old nomad, in that I have been on the road in one way or another simce my daddy took me on my first road trip (hitch hiking) when I was 5 yrs old. I went solo at 16, and never looked back.
Im what you wld call an all but straight edge, traveler. aka, I smoke tobacco and drink coffee.... that is about it tho. sure I'll tip back a pint in good company, but I have no interest in getting to any level of intoxication. It serves no purpose but to fuck up social standings between freinds and peers by morning. nah, I'm good. drugs? best use that soap box for fire wood before I get started on that one!
I started working leather 16 years ago. Started making shoes and boots about 12 years ago. the whole copper/brass thing..... as far back as I can remember.
